Delicious. The crab cakes are full of crab and not full of filler. The seafood is super fresh and extremely flavorful and the directions cook the food perfectly. The clams aren't full of sand either. The service is top notch as well. 3rd time going and will definitely be back for more. All 11 of us were extremely satisfied.

Nice family run spot. Crab cakes are really good and the remoulade sauce is really good. You can tell it’s actually homemade. Great prices. Great service. Check them out you won’t be disappointed.

What a treat to find such a fantastic place so close to our home! The place was immaculate with friendly service. The main thing, of course, was the food. We ordered 4 crab cakes to go. They are gluten-free and all had large chunks of crabmeat. Honestly, I consider myself a connoisseur on crab cakes and these were absolutely fantastic. The crab cakes came with 3 different sauces. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Next we will try the steamers. By the looks of everything I have no doubt they will be outstanding as well.

Down the Shores Steamers is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The seafood was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection — the crab legs were sweet and juicy, the shrimp perfectly seasoned, and the corn and potatoes were the ideal complement to the meal. The atmosphere has that classic coastal vibe, laid-back yet vibrant, making it the perfect spot for a casual night out or a fun gathering with friends and family. Portions were generous, prices were fair, and you can truly taste the care that goes into every dish. If you’re looking for a place that delivers on both flavor and experience, this is it. We’ll definitely be coming back again and again — highly recommend!

We searched online for great seafood spots in Wildwood and this place popped up right away. At first, we were a bit hesitant due to the limited reviews, but after realizing they were fairly new, we decided to give them a call. The woman who answered was incredibly patient with my husband's many questions (seriously like 5 of them). Since it was just after Labor Day aka post-Benny season, as my brother likes to say, they were able to have them steam our order in house within an hour. To say it exceeded our expectations is an understatement. The presentation at pickup was stunning, and the seafood itself was absolutely delicious. We’re major foodies and honestly couldn’t have made it better ourselves. Adding pics to this review to prove it..this place is the real deal!

The best food experience we've had in Wildwood! Do not sleep on Down The Shore Steamers! They were super friendly, thorough with their preparations, and provided SPOT ON instructions for helping steam up your very own pot of deliciosity at home instead of fighting for a reservation somewhere. They even send you with a roll of brown paper to eat over, as well as sauces, spice blends, lemons & butter. The value for what you receive... ! Best crab cakes we've ever had, too! We did The Crab Walk-Ocean, with an extra 1/2lb of crab legs, plus the crab cakes. I wish you could smell the photos below!

So good! I got an ocean size bucket which was plenty to feed five of us. Steamed with Sauvignon Blanc, butter and the garlic & herb seasoning. Absolutely delicious and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. The seafood was super fresh and all in the price & flavor far surpassed most restaurants. I hope this place does amazingly well. They deserve to!
